Late Dinshaw Bapuna, our founder and patriarch of the
Bapuna Family, came from humble beginnings. He was born in 1917 in a
small town in Gujarat and carried a dream within him to create a
lasting legacy.
By the late 1970s, his three sons, Aspi, Adil & Abad, joined him,
marking the beginning of the Bapuna Group's upward trajectory. In
the early 1980s, the group expanded beyond Nagpur and established
its first distillery in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. In 1987, it was
incorporated as Bapuna Alcobrew (formerly known as Gwalior
Distillers Ltd.). This success led to further expansion, including
the addition of a brewery at Morena, Madhya Pradesh and strategic
partnerships with Forms & Dinshaw's Dairy Foods.
Although Dinshaw Bapuna passed away in 2001, he was proud of the legacy he had built. He was an entrepreneur, businessman, visionary, and philanthropist who lived by the adage "Work is Worship." This philosophy continues to be the guiding principle of the Bapuna Group. We take great pride in our founder's spirit and strive for excellence, ensuring the delivery of quality in all our ventures.
